Fruits grow on trees, and we identify a tree by the sort of fruit that it bears. Apples on a tree means it is an apple tree, pears a pear tree, and peaches a peach tree. In a similar way, the Holy Spirit produces characteristics in the lives of those who know Jesus that reflect their identity as children of God - a list commonly known as the “fruits of the Spirit.” As we explore this list in our summer message series, we’ll reflect on the present health of this fruit in our lives and seek for this fruit to grow bigger and stronger.
