A VOLUNTEER SIGN UP SHEET is posted by the kitchen for those who would like to volunteer for our next Mobile Food Pantry set for Friday, January 18.  There are a couple ways you can help with this important ministry.  We need volunteers to help that day with various jobs such as working in the kitchen, helping with registration, and helping clients carry food to their cars.  Also, we need baked goods to serve.  All help is so appreciated!

BERN VELD thanks friends and family who sent cards for Christmas and his 95th birthday.  He also appreciated the RCWM gift bag and their visit.  Happy New Year!

THANK YOU TO ALL who helped serve this Christmas season.  We saw so many donations for winter items for the children at DeMotte Elementary, Angel Tree gifts for the KVSC fulfilled, spots filled for Salvation Army bell ringing, and service at the soup kitchen with hat and glove donations.  You have been a blessing to many!

WE HAVE ANOTHER SOUP KITCHEN VOLUNTEER DATEThe soup kitchen in Michigan City has an opening on Saturday, January 12 for twelve people, over the age of seventeen, to help serve the homeless and hungry.  If you would like to help, please sign the sheet by the kitchen.  If you'd like to carpool we plan to leave church at 8:00 A.M.  If you have questions or would like to drive to the soup kitchen yourself, contact Bob & Phyllis Belstra (987-2563) for the church address.

GLOVES AND STOCKING CAPS, preferably that can cover the face but any will be appreciated, are needed at the Homeless Shelters. There is a box in the front foyer (exterior door #8) as well as in the Fireside Room for your donations.  Thank you in advance.

NURSERY VOLUNTEER UPDATEWe are looking to update our nursery volunteer list.  Volunteering in the nursery is a fun way to interact with ARC’s precious children!  Teens and adults of all ages are welcome to volunteer!  If you would like to be added to the list, please sign up on the sheet by the kitchen.  If you would like to be removed from the current list, please notify Heather Veld (219-869-3403) or Marie Hilton (219-707-1459).
