SPECIAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING: We will be meeting immediately after Morning Worship next Sunday, June 10 for a congregational meeting. At this meeting we will vote on making the worship leader position permanent. We will also be updating the status of some of our mission shares as well as giving a few other updates on church ministries. We hope you can join us!
IMPACT STUDENTS AND PARENTS: After the congregational meeting next Sunday, there will be an informational meeting for this summer’s mission trip. Please plan to attend!
IF YOU HAVE someone graduating this year from college, high school or eighth grade, please call the church office with his or her name and school. We will celebrate our graduates on June 10.
IMMEDIATELY AFTER WORSHIP TODAY: We will begin moving some things around in preparation for VBS. If you would like to lend a hand in helping clear items from rooms or moving furniture, please meet our VBS staff (Teresa Evers, Tammy Whitt, Diane Ottinger and Pam Butler) at the front of the Sanctuary after worship. It shouldn’t take long! Thank you!
SUNDAY SCHOOL teachers are asked to please clean out your Sunday School rooms today so that we may prepare for VBS. Extra Sunday School materials may be put in the Resource Room.
ARC WILL BE TRANSFORMED into a tropical island this week as we decorate for VBS! We need lots of volunteers to make it possible! We welcome all, young and old, to help! We will begin at 9:00 A.M. Monday – Thursday and work into the afternoon. Any amount of time you can give will be a big help! Please come and lend a hand!
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL IS NEXT WEEK!
- This year’s theme is "Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus" and the dates are June 11-15. We look forward to having you join the fun! Online registration at demottearc.com as well as paper registration forms on your way downstairs to the Fellowship Hall are available for both kids and volunteers.
Crew Leaders and Assistants are still needed and welcome to register! If you are 16 years or older, we want you!

ARC TOGETHER: Have you been considering being a get-together host? Now is a great time to fill out a host volunteer form and put it in the TOGETHER box. Get-togethers have just begun. Additional hosts would be appreciated in order to be able to include more people in a timely manner. Let’s be deliberate about getting together, strengthening relationships, welcoming newcomers and engaging in fellowship and fun with one another. BETHEL CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH is celebrating 50 years of God’s blessings and faithfulness. We want to extend an invitation to you and particularly to former members of Bethel to join us in our celebration times on Saturday, June 23 and Sunday June 24. There will be a celebration picnic on Saturday beginning at 4 p.m. on the church yard. On Sunday we will have our morning worship at 9:30 a.m. followed by a carry-in dinner and a celebration praise and worship time at 1:30 or 2 p.m. If you are able to join us for one or both of the meals, please RSVP to bethelcrc@netnitco.net by June 9, so we can be sure of having enough food.
MR. OUDMAN’S RETIREMENT OPEN HOUSE: You’re invited to celebrate Clarence Oudman’s 43 years of teaching and administration work at DMCS at an Open House on Friday, June 8. Join us for food, fellowship and fun as we thank Clarence for his time at the schools and send him off to continue to do God’s work however He leads. The Open House will be at Covenant Christian High School from 5:30 – 8:00 P.M.
