IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO JOIN THESE CLASSES J

  • ORGANIC OUTREACH ~ This is a 10 week class led by Pastor Troy that focuses on natural ways to build evangelism in our lives as individuals and as a church.  We will learn ways to have evangelism happen in practical and natural ways in all parts of our life.  This class is offered on Sunday mornings after worship and Wednesday evenings at 6:30 P.M. in the Fireside Room.

  • THE MEANING OF MARRIAGE  Pastor Rob and Melanie are leading a 6 week class on marriage.  If you are married, hope to be married, or want to just learn more about marriage, this class is for you!  You will learn more about what the Bible says about marriage and how to center our marriage on God.  This class is offered on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings at 6:30 P.M. in the Cry Room.

  • EMOTIONALLY HEALTHY SPIRITUALITY        This will be a 9 week class led by Jill Kohlhagen that discovers what it means to bring emotional health into our faith journey.  We will learn what emotionally unhealthy spirituality looks like, and how we can bring transformation into our relationships with Jesus, ourselves, and others.  The class will be offered on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings beginning the week of October 7.  A sign-up sheet is by the kitchen.

A VOLUNTEER SIGN UP SHEET is posted by the kitchen for those who would like to volunteer for our next Mobile Food Pantry set for Friday, October 12.  There are a couple ways you can help with this important ministry.  We need volunteers to help that day with various jobs such as working in the kitchen, helping with registration, and helping clients carry food to their cars.  Also, we need baked goods to serve.  All help is so appreciated!

COAT DRIVEBoxes are in the Fireside Room now through October for your donations of coats, hoodies, sweatshirts, sweaters, boots and gloves.  Items collected will be distributed between The Crisis Center in Rensselaer and various shelters and soup kitchens in Lake County and Porter County in October and November.  If you have questions please contact Bob & Phyllis Belstra.
