WE STILL HAVE A FEW SPOTS LEFT for Salvation Army Bell Ringing!  The KVMA is again this year coordinating a special mission of mercy outreach.  We will partner with the Salvation Army by placing a bucket at Tysen’s Grocery.  Our church has been asked to fill the bell ringer schedule for Sat., Dec. 21.  A signup sheet for one hour slots beginning at 9:00 A.M. and running through 7:00 P.M. is located by the kitchen.

LIBRARY RENOVATIONWe are beginning the preparation for our library renovation which is scheduled to begin in January.  On Thursday, December 19, we are asking for volunteers to help box up the books and resources that are in there so they can be moved out to prepare for construction.  We plan to begin moving items around 10:00.  Also, if you have boxes around your house you would be willing to donate to use for this moving project, you can drop them off in the library.  Talk to Pastor Troy with any questions.  Thank you for your help!

WE NEED COOKS!  We are looking for people to prepare Wednesday Night dinners for the month of February.  If you’d like to take a week, please sign up on the sheet down by the kitchen.

WE ARE LOOKING for one leader for Children’s Church lessons!  This would be for ages 3-1st grade.  Leaders are asked to teach once every 6 weeks.  If interested, please contact Stacy Hoffman (869-8114 or office@demottearc.com).

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who donated coats, etc. to the recent coat drive.  Most of the items have already been delivered to soup kitchens and homeless shelters.  Those who were blessed by your generosity are deeply appreciative.  Thanks, too, to Dave J., Jim, Julie, Dawn, Ellen and Amy for giving your time last Saturday to help distribute the coats, etc. and help at the soup kitchen.”  – Bob and Phyllis Belstra

WOULD YOU LIKE to receive ARC updates and cancellation info via text message?  Just text @demottearc to 81010 to sign up!

AMERICAN REFORMED CHURCH is about to have a milestone birthday!  A big celebration is being planned for October of 2020.  ARC will be turning 100 years old!  We would like to invite you to share your memories and stories about your time here at ARC no matter if you have grown up here or have just recently started attending.  There is a table downstairs on your way to coffee with a box where you can place your memories and stories.  They can be serious, humorous, whatever you choose.  Please sign your name to your story in case we have any questions.  We plan to compile your stories into a book so your memories will be available for others to enjoy.  If you have any questions, please talk to an ARC 100 year celebration committee member (Roger & Donna Knip, Chuck & Lynn Liebbe, or Ralph & Ardy Myers).  Stories can also be emailed to rknip@netnitco.net.
