GOD.  LIFE.  FAITH.

WHAT’S THE POINT?

Make time to find out.  If you’re new to faith, just checking it out, or coming back to church after some time away, Starting Point is a great first step.  It’s an 8-week conversational small group environment where you can explore faith and experience community.  Please join us this morning during Sunday School time in the Cry Room.  Where is the Cry Room?  Exit the front, left  corner of the Sanctuary (by the piano) and go down the stairs, the Cry Room is at the bottom of the stairs to your right.

WE WELCOME Pastor Jim Alblas this morning to provide our message.  Pastor Jim is the Pastor of Congregational Life at First Christian Reformed Church of DeMotte.

SAVE THE DATE:  The Mother-Daughter-Friend Banquet hosted by our Reformed Church Women’s Ministry will be on Friday, May 4.  Watch the bulletin for ticket info and further details.

THIS SATURDAY:  THE ANNUAL CAMP MANITOQUA WORK DAY will be this Saturday, April 21.  The work day is from 9:00 – 2:30 P.M. and lunch will be provided.  We will need handymen for projects and light construction.   If you are able to come along, please talk to Chuck Liebbe (741-7461).

COME LEAD A CREW!  VBS is taking volunteers for Crew Leaders and Assistant Crew Leaders.  If you are 16 years or older, we want you!  Sign up on the table by the mailboxes in the Fellowship Hall today!  This year’s theme is "Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus" and the dates are June 11-15.  We look forward to having you join the fun!

Wow!  What a blessing to be part of the family of God here at American Reformed Church.  There has been a great response to the ARC TOGETHER program!  Get-togethers will begin soon!  The program is designed to strengthen relationships, welcome newcomers and engage in fellowship and fun.  If you have not yet filled out a guest info sheet, it would be helpful if you would. There have been a good number of host volunteers and it would be helpful to have some more in order to get more people included in a timely manner.  Forms can be turned in to the TOGETHER box on the table in the kitchen hall or in the Narthex.  There are extra forms on those tables as well.  For those who do not have a mailbox, please grab a form from the table.  If you have already volunteered to host a get-together, thank you!  You will find host information in your mailbox today.  Please pray that God will use this program to reach people, unite people and spread Christian joy and love.  If you have any questions, please call or text Kristi (219-964-9957 or 987-5195) or Donna (219-739-9824 or 987-4289).

ADVANCE NOTICE:  Family pictures for the new church directory will be taken on August 6, 7, and 8.     Further details to come.
