TODAY’S MEETING

9:30 A.M.  MORNING WORSHIP

THE REGULAR OFFERING will be received for the General Fund.

9:30 A.M.  CHILDREN’S CHURCH for kids 3 years old through 5th grade will meet in the Promiseland Area.

10:45 – 11:45 A.M.  SUNDAY SCHOOL for all ages.

(Parents:  please pick your child up in his/her classroom.)   

  3 yr. old – 12th grade will meet in their respective classrooms.

  CURRENT EVENTS:  A group that discusses current events will meet in the Cry Room.

  Nursery is available upon request. 

5:00 – 7:00 P.M.  MOVEMENT YOUTH MINISTRY will meet in the Fellowship Hall.

6:00 P.M.  PRAYER GROUP/BIBLE STUDY will meet in the Consistory Room.

MONDAY – January 14

1:00 P.M.  HOPE CIRCLE will meet in the Fireside Room.  Lesson - Lorri Owsley; Devotions/Spiritual Life - JoAnn Abbring; Hostesses – Lucile Bozell and Pennie Martin

6:30 P.M.  DARTBALL Team #2 will be in the Fellowship Hall.

6:45 P.M.  DARTBALL Team #1 will be at Sorrowful Mother.

TUESDAY – January 15

 6:30 P.M.  FAITHFIT YOGA will be in the Fellowship Hall.

WEDNESDAY – January 16

FAMILY NIGHT

§  DINNER will be served from 5:15 – 6:30.        

Menu:  chili and cornbread 

§  FOOD BACKPACKS will be stuffed in the Fellowship Hall at 6:00.

FRIDAY – January 18

MOBILE FOOD PANTRY will be in the Fellowship Hall.  Doors open to clients at 8:00 A.M. with food distribution beginning around 10:00 A.M.  A volunteer sign up sheet is posted by the kitchen for those who would like to volunteer.  There are a couple ways you can help with this important ministry.  We need volunteers to help that day with various jobs such as working in the kitchen, helping with registration, and helping clients carry food to their cars.  Also, we need baked goods to serve.  All help is so appreciated!

 

SATURDAY – January 19

6:00 – 7:30 A.M.  MEN’S LIFE will meet in the Fireside Room.

NEXT LORD’S DAY – January 20

9:30 A.M.  WORSHIP

     THE REGULAR OFFERING will be received for the General Fund and the second offering will be for DeMotte Christian Schools, Inc.

THE NEW YEAR IS THE PERFECT TIME to come and check out FaithFit Yoga!  Join us every Tuesday at 6:30 P.M.  Christy Nelms is a certified yoga instructor who provides a faith based atmosphere to promote health, happiness, and well-being in our community.  Since the body is the temple, she strives to nurture health while bringing participants closer to Christ through yoga.  Classes are $8 per session or you can purchase an 11 class punch card for $80.  All are welcome to join us!

CHILDREN’S CHURCH IS GROWING!  God is doing great things in our Children’s Ministry and we want you to be a part of it!  We are looking to add an additional group for our youngest children so that we can split our groups into smaller sizes and give this ministry more room to grow.  This means we are looking for new leaders.  We’ll need 6 more leaders and 6 more helpers.  As soon as we get enough leaders in place for a 6 week rotation, we will get the additional group going. DEMOTTE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL has begun accepting sign ups for the 2019-2020 Kindergarten and Pre-School.  Space is limited so please call the school office soon at 219-987-3721.  All new families to the school will need to complete an application (available online at www.demottechristianschools.org.)

For 3-Year-Old Pre-School (T/Tham),

your child must be 3 years old by August 1, 2019.

For 4-Year-Old Pre-School (M/W/Fam or M/W/Fpm),
