Feel free to grab a cup of coffee from the Fellowship Hall/Kitchen serving ledge downstairs before the service!  You are also invited to stay for a time of fellowship and refreshments in the Fellowship Hall after the service!




THE REGULAR OFFERING will be received for the General Fund and the second offering will be for Vacation Bible School.

9:30 A.M.  CHILDREN’S CHURCH for kids 3 years old through 5th grade will meet in the Promiseland Area.

10:45 – 11:45 A.M.  SUNDAY SCHOOL for all ages.

(Parents:  please pick your child up in his/her classroom.)   

  3 yr. old – 12th grade will meet in their respective classrooms.

  CURRENT EVENTS:  A group that discusses current events will meet in the Cry Room.

  Nursery is available upon request. 

5:00 – 7:00 P.M.  MOVEMENT YOUTH MINISTRY will meet in the Fellowship Hall.

6:00 P.M.  PRAYER/BIBLE STUDY GROUP will meet in the Consistory Room.


TUESDAY – April 16

6:30 P.M.  FAITHFIT YOGA will be in the Fellowship Hall.

Let’s Celebrate Together with an

Easter Dinner!


The menu will be ham and all the fixings! 

Dinner will be served from 5:15 – 6:30 P.M.  Help us prepare something extra special for our Wednesday night crowd!  Volunteers are needed to help prepare, serve, and clean up.  If you are able to lend a hand, please call Tammy Szostek at 219-895-1334.  We also need desserts.  If you are able to bring a dessert, please sign up on the sheet by the church kitchen.


§  FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY will meet in the Consistory Room from 6:00 – 7:30.

§  FOOD BACKPACKS will be stuffed in the Fellowship Hall at 6:00.


THURSDAY – April 18

OUR MAUNDY THURSDAY SERVICE will be this Thursday at 7:00 P.M.  Please join us for this meaningful night and invite a friend!  An offering will be received for our Missions & Benevolences Fund.


SATURDAY – April 20

6:00 – 7:30 A.M.  MEN’S LIFE will meet in the Fireside Room.




8:00 A.M.


Helpers are welcome.  We plan to work for approximately 3 hours on bush and tree trimming, raking, sweeping and mulching, and some painting and staining work if weather permits.  Call Mike Veld if you have questions at 765-490-1644.

NEXT LORD’S DAY – April 21

9:30 A.M.  EASTER CELEBRATION    We hope you will join us for this special worship service and invite friends.  Donuts will be served following the service in the Fellowship Hall.   Afterword, the Fellowship Committee will hold an Easter Egg Hunt for Pre-K through 5th grade children.  The hunt will take place in the South parking lot at 11:15.  Children will be brought to the parking lot by their Sunday School teachers.  Parents, please join your children for the fun!  There will be no evening prayer group or Movement that night.

WE EXPRESS sympathy to Sandy Rahmoeller as well as all family and friends on the passing of our sister in Christ, Pansy Hanford.  Pansy went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 9.  Visitation will take place at Frazier Funeral Home today from 2:00 – 6:00 P.M. with a service at Frazier tomorrow at 11:00 A.M.

  • This year’s theme is "Roar:  Life is Wild, God is Good" and the dates are June 10-14.  We look forward to having you join the fun!  Register your kids or register to volunteer at or pick up a paper registration downstairs on your way to coffee.  Crew Leaders and Assistants are needed and welcome to register! 

  • Stop and check out the donation tags on the bulletin board on your way to the Fellowship Hall.  Many items are needed!  So, please take a tag.  Thanks!  J

  • Start saving your paper towel tubes for VBS!  We will need many!  Drop them in the VBS corner in the Fellowship Hall.

WE HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY to connect with our ARC college kids!  Today there are cards on tables in the Fellowship Hall that will be sent to our college students to encourage them and let them know their ARC family is thinking of them.  All are welcome to walk around the tables and sign the cards. TODAY ONLY!

HELP GET CAMP MANITOQUA READY for their 2019 camp season!  Every year, a group from ARC goes to Manitoqua for a day and works on projects to help prepare the grounds for the summer.  The work day for this year is Saturday, April 27, 9:00 A.M. – 2:30 P.M.  Lunch is provided.  If you are interested in coming along, please contact Chuck Liebbe at (219) 741-7461. 




SPRING DINNER:   DMCS invites everyone to the Spring Dinner on Tuesday, April 16, from 5:00-7:00pm at CCHS.  Eat in or carry out!

ANNUAL SPRING RUMMAGE SALE:  Covenant Christian High School invites everyone to its Spring Rummage Sale on April 27, from 9am – 1pm in the school gym.  Come shop for some great bargains for $7 per bag from 9am – 12pm and just $2 per bag from 12-1 pm.  If you have any gently used items you wish to donate to the sale, they can be brought in through the back door at school on Thursday, April 25 from 2pm – 5pm, OR bring them in through the front door of school on Friday, April 26, from 8am – 2pm.  If you would like to volunteer to help set up on Friday, please call the CCHS main office at 219-987-7651.  Thank you!

THE RED CROSS BLOODMOBILE will be at the American Reformed Church on May 2, 2019, 1:00 - 7:00 PM.  There is always a dire need for blood supplies to be replenished. It normally takes an hour, but it is an hour that could save someone’s life. Please consider coming in to donate blood. It’s best to make an appointment.
