OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS

WE EXPRESS our sympathy to Jasper Brouwer and Beth Brouwer on the passing of Jasper’s cousin, Rena Halbersma.  Services were held this past Wednesday in Minnesota.  Please keep family and friends in prayer during this difficult time.

WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK the members of our church family for the support, cards, gifts, and especially prayers over the last year while Carol had cancer and with a broken back.  Carol was giving her testimony up to the last day before her surgery.  We have peace knowing she is now with the God she loved so much.  We would also like to thank Pastor Troy for his prayers and support during this past year.  His phone calls meant so much to us.”

FORMER MEMBER, John Pruis, who attended ARC many years ago, is turning 90 years old on November 1.  He currently lives in Missouri in assisted living where visitors are limited due to Covid.  His family will not be able to have a party for him and reached out to us to encourage a card shower which would help him have a happy birthday.  If you wish to send a card, please send to John Pruis, 2899 S. Grasshill Rd. #179, Brookline Station, MO 65619.

TRAINING CONTINUES!  Please pray for our runners as they train for the Indy Monumental Marathon and Half Marathon in November.  They are working with Team World Vision to help raise money for clean water for communities in need in underdeveloped countries.  If you’d like to donate, go online to Team World Vision and search American Reformed Church.  You can donate on behalf of a specific runner or the team as a whole.
