MOBILE PANTRY: This will again be a drive-through pantry due to Covid. We will need about 10 volunteers to help pack boxes outside. Volunteers are asked to arrive by 9:15 A.M. Clients should arrive no earlier than 9:30 A.M. If you would like to help, please sign up on the sheet in the kitchen window.

OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS
WE EXPRESS our deepest sympathy to Sharon Bovenkerk and all family and friends on the passing of our brother in Christ, Paul Bovenkerk. Paul went to be with his Lord on Thursday, April 8. Visitation will be here this afternoon from 2:00 – 8:00 P.M. and the funeral service will be here tomorrow at 10:30 A.M. May God grant comfort during this difficult time.
BIBLE ADVENTURES MEETING TODAY! Current leaders and anyone interested in leading this summer are encouraged to attend the meeting today after worship in the Promiseland area.
HELP ENCOURAGE OUR COLLEGE STUDENTS! There is a table set up today in the Fellowship Hall with greeting cards for our college students. Please come down after worship and sign your name so they know you are praying for them!
GLOBAL 6K: Save the date for the World Vision 2021 Global 6K on May 22. Pastor Troy will share details this morning.
ATTENTION PARENTS OF BIBLE ADVENTURES KIDS: We now have our weekly videos and take-home sheets available on our website! This gives kids an opportunity to watch the video again at home or see videos they missed! There are printable coloring pages for Pre-K/K and printable Take Home Sheets for 1st – 5th grade. Visit demottearc.com and go to the Children’s Ministry page. There, you will find a link to the content (please note that the content page is password protected; the password is “adventures”. New lessons will be posted weekly!

LAKESIDE ARTISTS GUILD is a strings musician group which will be performing a free Concert & Hymn Sing at Immanuel United Reformed Church in DeMotte, Indiana on Wednesday, April 14 at 6:30 P.M. Refreshments will be served following the concert. Everyone welcome!
CCHS JUNIORS are having a coat drive! They are bringing clean, gently-used coats to Michigan for Service Week. There is a weatherproof container located at the CCHS front entrance doors under the carport. Donors can easily drop off without having to come inside the school! Thank you in advance for your support.
DMCS ANNUAL SOCIETY MEETING (April 13):
DeMotte Christian Schools, Inc. strongly encourages you to attend the Annual Society Meeting on Tuesday, April 13, at 7:00pm at DeMotte Christian School OR via ZOOM.
· Society members will vote on the proposed advisory budget and new Board members. The bylaws require that a member “be 18 years of age or older and have individually contributed a minimum of $50 to the school corporation in the 13 months prior to the publication of the agenda.” Parents with children enrolled at Covenant or DeMotte Christian have by default already met the $50 contribution requirement but still need to sign the membership affirmation.
· If submitting an absentee ballot for Board member elections, a member must complete the election ballot and the member affirmation statement, place in a sealed envelope, sign the outside, and turn in to either school office.
· Society booklets will be available in the CCHS main office and in the literature rack outside the DMC main office by Monday, March 29. You may also call the school offices at 987-3721 and request one to be emailed to you.
THE CCHS THEATRE DEPARTMENT invites you to join them for their spring production! This year, we’ll be doing two very different one-act plays in one night. The first, a drama, is entitled, “The Long Christmas Dinner” and the second, a comedy, is called, “Pirates!” April 16 & 17, 7:30 P.M. for both evenings. We’re very excited to be able again to host a full audience, and tickets will be sold in advance at the school office. Adult tickets are $7 and students K-12 are $4. Unsold tickets will be available for purchase at the door. This production will also be live-streamed - watch the DMCS Facebook page for the link. Please join us for a fun, family-friendly night!
CCHS TEACHING POSITIONS: Covenant Christian High School is needing to fill the following teaching positions for the 2021-22 school year:

DMC TEACHING POSITION: DeMotte Christian Grade School is looking for a full-time teacher for the 2021-2022 school year to teach fourth grade. Applicants must hold at least a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, agree fully with the school’s statement of beliefs, is an active member of a church with a Reformed persuasion, and demonstrates the ability to teach children well. RUMMAGE SALE! Covenant Christian High School invites everyone to their Spring Rummage Sale on Saturday, April 24 from 9:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. in the school gym. Only $7 per bag from 9:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M., and $2 per bag from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M.! To donate clean, gently used items for the sale, please bring them on Thursday, April 22 from 2:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. at the back door or Friday, April 23 from 8:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. at the front door. Volunteers are needed to set up and sort on Thursday from 2:00 – 7:00 P.M. or Friday from 8:00 A.M. -4:00 P.M. Please call CCHS’s office at 219-987-7651 to sign up.
