10:00 A.M. PRAYER FOR REVITALIZATION will take place in the Sanctuary. Pastor Troy will lead a time of prayer (about 30 minutes) for the revitalization process of ARC. We encourage all to come participate!
SATURDAY – May 22
8:30 A.M. WORLD VISION GLOBAL 6K will be at Spencer Park.
Thousands of people from around the globe will walk or run 6K to bring life-changing clean water to communities in need. Each participant's registration fee provides clean water for one person. This year, there are two ways to participate. You may choose to do the race on your own at the time and location of your choice or join us at Spencer Park! Remember, you can run or walk at your own pace! It isn’t too late to sign up! Online registration is still open through demottearc.com under the "ministries" tab. Race Fee: $50 for adults; $25 for age 17 and under. We hope you will consider joining us to move our feet for clean water!

TO ALL OUR VETERANS, if you have not in previous years submitted pictures for our Memorial weekend presentation, please turn in one military picture and one more contemporary picture to Tim Sietsma’s mailbox or email them to tim.sietsma@gmail.com. When emailing Tim, please put “Memorial Day Presentation” in the subject field. Also, please be sure to include the correct name spelling of the service person. The deadline to turn in pictures/info is today. We also ask that you check the list posted by the church office for accuracy in listing all our veterans and those currently serving our nation.

TWO ROSES have been added to our Memorial Rose Garden. They were planted in memory of Thelma L’Huillier and Carol Sietsma.
100th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION PHOTOS are available to order if you would like your own copy. There are two sizes available on display downstairs on the bulletin board. Check them out on your way to coffee. Both sizes are $10.00 each. If you’d like to order, please contact Stacy in the church office.
BIBLE ADVENTURES videos and take-home sheets are available on our website! This gives kids an opportunity to watch the video again at home or see videos they missed! There are printable coloring pages for Pre-K/K and printable Take Home Sheets for 1st – 5th grade. Visit demottearc.com and go to the Children’s Ministry page. CAMP MANITOQUA REGISTRATION INFO: It has been announced that Camp Manitoqua will be able to have overnight camp this year, however, spots are VERY limited! This year’s theme is Live - Love based on Mark 12:29-31. Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” You can register online for one of their day or overnight camps at manitoqua.org. Informational brochures as well as their safety measures are available in the kitchen window. Church will again pay 2/3 for members and non-members. Please call the church office for the coupon code.
DMC 8th GRADE PROMOTION INFORMATION: Promotion for the DMC class of 2021 will be held on Thursday, May 27 at 7:00 P.M. in the gymnasium. The speaker is Mrs. Mary Vander Molen and the class those the following verse from Acts 20:24, “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me - the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” Because the advisory level for Jasper County remains at orange on the Indiana COVID-19 dashboard and map, attendance for the 8th Grade Promotion will be limited to 8th grade students' immediate families (parents and siblings), grandparents, Junior High staff and School Board members. Masks and social distancing by family will be required. If Jasper County goes into yellow or blue, appropriate accommodations will be made for increased attendance.
COVENANT CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL invites you to join us for our 2021 graduation ceremony! The event will be held in our gym on Friday, May 28 at 7:00 P.M. Floor seating will be limited to the immediate family of our graduates (8 seats per family), but others are welcome to be seated on the bleachers on either side of the gym (please distance appropriately). Following the ceremony, we will exit the building to congratulate the Class of 2021 outside and enjoy some cake, weather permitting!
THE EAGLE’S EYE (DMC Promotion Issue) will be available in the foyer of DMC on Friday, May 28. This booklet contains a letter from the JH Principal, class highlights, awards and accomplishments, and paragraphs from our 2021 8th grade students.
30th ANNUAL DMCS FOUNDATION GOLF OUTING: June 16th will mark the 30th Annual DMCS Foundation Golf Outing! Registration will begin at noon with a shotgun start at 1:00 P.M. at the beautiful Sandy Pines Golf Course ending with an evening dinner and award ceremony.
