WAYS TO SERVE THIS CHRISTMAS SEASON!

  • ANGEL TREE PROJECT:  The Angel Tree Project blesses DeMotte Elementary students in need with Christmas gifts.  Bags are in the Fellowship Hall today available to be picked up.  If you choose to participate please select a bag from the table and write your name on the sign up sheet next to the code that corresponds with the one on the tag of the bag. Please leave the tag attached to the bag.  Gifts should be returned to the Fellowship Hall on or before Sunday, December 9.

  • THIS HOLIDAY SEASON, we want to give back to our community by blessing the families of DeMotte Elementary School who have some needs.  We want to provide winter clothing and other items that can be given out at school to students in need.  There is a list of the items we will be collecting on the bulletin board by the women’s restroom downstairs.  Take a tag for the item you would like to purchase and bring the item to church (drop off in Fireside Room), along with your tag, no later than December 10.

  • HAVE YOU EVER MET A HOMELESS PERSON?  Helped serve the hungry at a soup kitchen?  The soup kitchen in Michigan City has an opening on Saturday, December 8 for twelve people, over the age of seventeen, to help serve the homeless and hungry.  If you would like to help, please sign the sheet by the kitchen.  If you'd like to carpool we plan to leave church at 8:00 A.M.  If you have questions, contact Bob & Phyllis Belstra.

  • SALVATION ARMY BELL RINGERS NEEDED!  The KVMA is again this year coordinating a special mission of mercy outreach.  We will partner with the Salvation Army by placing a bucket at Tysen’s Grocery.  Our church has been asked to fill the bell ringer schedule for Sat., Dec. 22.  A signup sheet for one hour slots beginning at 9:00 A.M. and running through 7:00 P.M. is located by the kitchen.
