THIS MORNING, we will baptize William Alan and Maxwell Keith, sons of Pastor Troy and Kara Nanninga.

THE REGULAR OFFERING will be received for the General Fund.

10:45 – 11:45 A.M.  SUNDAY SCHOOL for all ages. 

(Parents:  please pick your child up in his/her classroom.)   

w  3 yr. olds – 2nd grade meet in the Promiseland area to sing and have snack time then go to their classrooms.

w  3rd & 4th grade – Please note that there will be no Bible Drill until March 18 due to the Easter Play.

w  5th – 12th grade will meet in their respective classrooms.

w  3rd grade – 12th grade meet in respective classrooms.

w  An adult small group will meet in the Room 37.

w  An adult current events class will meet in the Consistory Room.

w  Nursery is available upon request. 

4:30 – 6:00 P.M.  JOURNEY will meet in the Fireside Room.

TUESDAY – March 13

6:00 & 7:15 P.M.  FAITHFIT YOGA will be in the Fellowship Hall.

WEDNESDAY – March 14

1:30 – 3:00 P.M.  NIFTY NEEDLES will meet in the Fireside Room. 

LAST FAMILY NIGHT of the season

§  DINNER will be served from 5:15 – 6:30 P.M.  Menu:    shepherd’s pie, chicken rice casserole, pulled pork, rolls, veggies and dip, salad, apple sauce, ice cream

§  FOOD BACKPACKS will be stuffed in the Fellowship Hall at 6:00.

§  GOD’S ANGELS CHOIR (Kindergarten – 5th grade) practice in basement from 6:15 – 6:45.

ARC:  LET’S GET TOGETHER!  This new program is designed to strengthen ties, welcome newcomers and engage in fellowship and fun with our church family.  You will be invited now and then to various homes for different events with a new mix of people each time.  When an invitation shows up in your church mailbox and it works for you, join the fun!  If not, catch the next one.  Please take note of the detailed information in your church mailbox today.  If you would be willing to be a host, please fill out the host volunteer form and return it the box in the narthex or on the table in the kitchen hallway.  We are excited to see what God will do when we make an effort to make connections!  We are blessed with a wonderful church family!  Let’s Get Together!

IMPACT STUDENTS:  The summer mission trip to Detroit, MI, is scheduled for June 24-29. To reserve your spot, a $50 deposit is due by 4/1. Please contact Amanda DeVries (219-863-7844) with any questions!  

VBS 2018 is coming and we once again need your help to make it a success!  This year’s theme is "Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus" and the dates are June 11-15.  We have 10 leadership positions to fill and we need 20 adults and 20 high school age teens to serve as crew leaders.  There is a sign-up table in the Fellowship Hall this morning where you can get more information and also sign up.

THE ANNUAL CAMP MANITOQUA WORK DAY will be on Saturday, April 21.  The work day is from 9:00 – 2:30 P.M. and lunch will be provided.  We will need handymen for projects and light construction.    If you are able to come along to help, please talk to Chuck Liebbe (741-7461).

DEMOTTE ELEMENTARY is in need of school supplies for students.  Throughout the year, the school office likes to keep supplies stocked for students in need and unable to afford supplies.  Supply donations may be put in the box in the Promiseland area under the “Fruits of the Spirit Tree” wall painting.  Specific items requested are:  stick glue, crayons (24 pack), pocket folders (plastic), pencil boxes, kid scissors, and dry erase markers (black).

SEVERAL MEMBERS OF ARC are set to leave for the Houston, TX area this Saturday, March 17.  We value your prayers as they will leave home to aid those affected by the flooding caused by last August’s Hurricane Harvey.  If you also wish to support them financially, to help offset travel and other expenses, we encourage those funds to be designated and deposited into the regular offerings take during the remaining month of March.  You can also support them from the DONATE link at the website or a drop box has been setup in the church office.

HEAD COOK POSITION:  DeMotte Christian Schools, Inc. is looking for a Head Cook to oversee and prepare lunches for DeMotte Christian Schools starting in the 2018-2019 school year.  The position is full-time, but willing to make position part-time in the right circumstances.  If interested in the position, please contact Mr. Brinks, Principal, at or contact the school office at 219-987-3721.
