TODAY’S MEETINGS

 Feel free to grab a cup of coffee from the Fellowship Hall/Kitchen serving ledge downstairs before the service!  You are also invited to stay for a time of fellowship and refreshments in the Fellowship Hall after the service!

9:30 A.M.  MORNING WORSHIP

THE REGULAR OFFERING will be received for the General Fund and the second offering will be for our Missions & Benevolences Fund.

10:45 – 11:45 A.M.  SUNDAY SCHOOL for all ages. 

(Parents:  please pick your child up in his/her classroom.)   

w  3 yr. olds – 2nd grade meet in the Promiseland area to sing and have snack time then go to their classrooms.

w  3rd & 4th Grade will meet in the Bible Drill Room #21.

w  5th – 12th grade will meet in their respective classrooms.

w  3rd grade – 12th grade meet in respective classrooms.

w  An adult small group will meet in the Room 37.

w  An adult current events class will meet in the Consistory Room.

w  Nursery is available upon request. 

4:30 – 6:00 P.M.  JOURNEY will meet in the Fireside Room.

6:00 – 7:30 P.M.  IMPACT will meet in the Youth Room.

WEEKLY MEETINGS

 

MONDAY – March 26

7:00 P.M.  JOY CIRCLE will meet in the Youth Room where Kathy Veld will lead Lesson Six.  Julie Hoffman will give devotions and Spritual Life while Lola Arnett serves refreshments.

7:00 P.M.  EVE CIRCLE will meet in the Fireside Room where Sue Steinke will lead the lesson and host and Barb Kaluf will lead devotions.

7:00 P.M.  FAITH CIRCLE will meet in Room 16.  Teresa Evers will lead the lesson and Lisa Birkett will host.

TUESDAY – March 27

6:00 & 7:15 P.M.  FAITHFIT YOGA will be in the Fellowship Hall.

WEDNESDAY – March 28

1:00 – 3:00 P.M.  GOD’S UNIQUE ANTIQUES will meet in the Fireside Room.  If you are retired and have some extra time on your hands, please join us.  We usually play a game and have refreshments.

THURSDAY – March 29

 OUR MAUNDY THURSDAY SERVICE will be this Thursday at 7:00 P.M.  Please join us for this meaningful service and invite a friend!  An offering will be received for our Missions & Benevolences Fund.

NEXT LORD’S DAY – April 1

9:30 A.M.  EASTER CELEBRATION                                       We hope you will join us for this special worship service and invite friends.  There will be no Children’s Church that day and we will receive an offering for our Regular Fund.  Donuts will be served following the service in the Fellowship Hall.   Afterword, the Fellowship Committee will hold an Easter Egg Hunt for Pre-K through 4th grade children.  The hunt will take place in the South parking lot at 11:30.  Children will be brought to the parking lot by their Sunday School teachers.  Parents, please join your children for the fun!  There will be no evening prayer meeting that night.

♦ Donna Zandstra’s surgery went well and she was due to come home

   this past Friday.

WE EXPRESS sympathy to the Dave & Audrey Jolink Family on the passing of Dave’s mom, Adeline Jolink.  Adeline went home to be with her Lord on Friday, March 16.  Services were held at Boersma Funeral Home last Thursday.  May God grant comfort during this difficult time.

IMPACT STUDENTS:  The summer mission trip to Detroit, MI is scheduled for June 24-29. To reserve your spot, a $50 deposit is due by 4/1. Please contact Amanda DeVries (863-7844) with any questions!  

REQUESTS PLEASE!  Our Annual Request Program hosted by the RCWM will be on Sunday, April 29 at 6:00 P.M.  We are now taking requests!  Request drop boxes are located in the office window, in the front lobby, and on the table in the Fellowship Hall.  Please write down who you are requesting, what you would like them to do, and contact info (if not a member of this church) on the provided paper by the request boxes.  The deadline to get your requests in is April 8.

 WORDS OF HOPE devotionals for April, May and June are on church shelves today at the Sanctuary exits.

CALENDAR ITEMS for April are due to the church office by this Wednesday.

COME LEAD A CREW!  VBS is taking volunteers for Crew Leaders and Assistant Crew Leaders.  If you are 16 years or older, we want you!  Sign up on the table by the mailboxes in the Fellowship Hall today!  This year’s theme is "Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus" and the dates are June 11-15.  We look forward to having you join the fun!

THE ANNUAL CAMP MANITOQUA WORK DAY will be on Saturday, April 21.  The work day is from 9:00 – 2:30 P.M. and lunch will be provided.  We will need handymen for projects and light construction.    If you are able to come along, please talk to Chuck Liebbe (741-7461).

DEMOTTE ELEMENTARY is in need of school supplies for students.  Throughout the year, the school office likes to keep supplies stocked for students in need and unable to afford supplies.  Supply donations may be put in the box in the Promiseland area under the “Fruits of the Spirit Tree” wall painting.  Specific items requested are:  stick glue, crayons (24 pack), pocket folders (plastic), pencil boxes, kid scissors, and dry erase markers (black).

THANK YOU to everyone for your thoughts, prayers, and cards during the last 6 months after my injury and recent surgery.  It was and continues to be appreciated.  – Teresa Evers
