      Reflection

     *Song                                                                                  “Christ is Risen”

Let no one caught in sin remain

Inside the lie of inward shame

But fix our eyes upon the cross

And run to Him who showed great love

And bled for us, freely You bled for us

Christ is risen from the dead, trampling over death by death

Come awake, come awake, come and rise up from the grave

Christ is risen from the dead, we are one with Him again

Come awake, come awake, come and rise up from the grave

Beneath the weight of all our sin

He bowed to none but heaven’s will

No scheme of hell, no scoffer’s crown

No burden great can hold You down

In strength You reign, forever let Your church proclaim

Christ is risen from the dead, trampling over death by death

Come awake, come awake, come and rise up from the grave

Christ is risen from the dead, we are one with Him again

Come awake, come awake, come and rise up from the grave

O death, where is your sting

O hell, where is your victory

O church, come stand in the light

The glory of God has defeated the night

O death, where is your sting

O hell, where is your victory

O church, come stand in the light

Our God is not dead, He’s alive, He’s alive

Christ is risen from the dead, trampling over death by death

Come awake, come awake, come and rise up from the grave

Christ is risen from the dead, we are one with Him again

Come awake, come awake, come and rise up from the grave

Wow!  What a blessing to be part of the family of God here at American Reformed Church.  There has been a great response to the ARC TOGETHER program!  Get-togethers will begin soon!  The program is designed to strengthen relationships, welcome newcomers and engage in fellowship and fun.  If you have not yet filled out a guest info sheet, it would be helpful if you would. There have been a good number of host volunteers and it would be helpful to have some more in order to get more people included in a timely manner.  Forms can be turned in to the TOGETHER box on the table in the kitchen hall or in the Narthex.  There are extra forms on those tables as well.  For those who do not have a mailbox, please grab a form from the table.  If you have already volunteered to host a get-together, thank you!  You will find host information in your mailbox today.  Please pray that God will use this program to reach people, unite people and spread Christian joy and love.  If you have any questions, please call or text Kristi (219-964-9957 or 987-5195) or Donna (219-739-9824 or 987-4289).

REQUESTS PLEASE!  Our Annual Request Program hosted by the RCWM will be on Sunday, April 29 at 6:00 P.M.  We are now taking requests!  Request drop boxes are located in the office window, in the front lobby, and on the table in the Fellowship Hall.  Please write down who you are requesting, what you would like them to do, and contact info (if not a member of this church) on the provided paper by the request boxes.  The deadline to get your requests in is April 8.

COME LEAD A CREW!  VBS is taking volunteers for Crew Leaders and Assistant Crew Leaders.  If you are 16 years or older, we want you!  Sign up on the table by the mailboxes in the Fellowship Hall today!  This year’s theme is "Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus" and the dates are June 11-15.  We look forward to having you join the fun!
