10:45 – 11:30 A.M.  SUNDAY SCHOOL for all ages.

(Parents:  please pick your child up in his/her classroom.)   

  3 yr. old – 12th grade will meet in their respective classrooms.

  Nursery is available upon request. 

4:15 P.M.  MOVEMENT WORSHIP PRACTICE:  Singers for the week are Skylar, Hope, and Keegan.  Cooper will be on guitar and Ryder on box drum.

5:00 – 7:00 P.M.  MOVEMENT will meet in the Fellowship Hall.

5:30 – 7:00 P.M.  DISCIPLESHIP ESSENTIALS BIBLE STUDY will meet in the Promiseland Area.  Nursery is available.

6:00 P.M.  PRAYER GROUP/BIBLE STUDY will be in the Consistory Room.

6:30 P.M.  DARTBALL:  Team #1 will be in the Fellowship Hall.

6:45 P.M.  DARTBALL:  Team #2 will be at St. Cecilia.

TUESDAY – January 14

6:30 P.M.  FAITHFIT YOGA will be in the Fellowship Hall.

WEDNESDAY – January 15

4:45 P.M.  BACKPACKS for our Backpack Food Ministry will be stuffed in the Fireside Room.

5:15 – 6:30 P.M.  FAMILY NIGHT DINNER will be served in the Fellowship Hall.  Everyone is welcome!  Menu:  Tacos!

SATURDAY – January 18

6:00 – 7:30 A.M.  MEN’S LIFE will meet in the Fireside Room.  Each week, men meet to learn from God’s Word, have great fellowship and sharing, and spend time in prayer.  All men are welcome to join us.

NEXT LORD’S DAY – January 19

OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS

BELIEVE TRIP for Middle School Students will be March 6 & 7 in Bloomington, IL.  Cost:  $50  If you would like to sponsor a students, please contact Pastor Rob.

A CLASS FOR YOUNG ADULTS will begin meeting today in the Consistory Room after worship.  We will be doing a video series called “Finding Truth” by Francis Chan.  Pastor Rob and Melanie are excited to start something new for the young adults and young at heart!

 FAITHFIT YOGA BEGINS THIS WEEK!  FaithFit Yoga's mission is to provide a faith based atmosphere to promote health, happiness, and well-being in our community. The body is the temple and we strive to nurture our health while bringing our participants closer to Christ through yoga. FaithFit is led by Christy Nelms, a registered yoga alliance 200 hour instructor and a physical therapist.  We will slowly start back up to regain our practice.  Newcomers are welcome.  Classes will be held on Tuesday nights in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30 P.M. beginning this week!  You can buy a single class for $8 or an 11 class pass for $80!

THOSE WHO ARE INTERESTED in the July mission trip to Honduras are invited to a final call-out meeting on January 22 at 6:30 P.M. in the Fireside Room.  This will be the last meeting before a final decision about going on the trip needs to be made.  James and Brittany Foster, the missionaries at Jardin de Gracia Christian School, will be joining us that evening as well.  Questions before then?  Contact Liz Bayci at 956-9164.

DEMOTTE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is in need of lice kits and lice spray to have on hand for families in need.  ARC would like to supply them with some.  If you’d like to donate some, please drop off in the church office anytime.  Thank you!

WE NEED COOKS!  We are looking for people to prepare Wednesday Night dinners for the month of February to fill in for Tammy while she is out of town.  If you’d like to take a week, please sign up on the sheet down by the kitchen.

WE ARE LOOKING for one leader for Children’s Church lessons!  This would be for ages 3-1st grade.  Leaders are asked to teach once every 6 weeks.  If interested, please contact Stacy Hoffman (869-8114 or office@demottearc.com).

DEMOTTE CHRISTIAN GRADE SCHOOL PRE-SCHOOL/KINDERGARTEN SIGN UPSDeMotte Christian School is now accepting sign ups for the 2020-21 Pre-School and Kindergarten classes.  Space is limited; all new families to the school will need to complete an application (available online at www.demottechristianschools.org.).  Call 219-987-3721 to sign up!

For 3-Year-Old Pre-School (T/Tham),

your child must be 3 years old by August 1, 2020.

For 4-Year-Old Pre-School (M/W/Fam or M/W/Fpm),

your child must be 4 years old by August 1, 2020.

For Kindergarten (1/2 day or Full Day),

your child must be 5 years old by August 1, 2020.

AMERICAN REFORMED CHURCH is about to have a milestone birthday!  A big celebration is being planned for October of 2020.  ARC will be turning 100 years old!  We would like to invite you to share your memories and stories about your time here at ARC no matter if you have grown up here or have just recently started attending.  There is a table downstairs on your way to coffee with a box where you can place your memories and stories.  They can be serious, humorous, whatever you choose.  Please sign your name to your story in case we have any questions.  We plan to compile your stories into a book so your memories will be available for others to enjoy.  If you have any questions, please talk to an ARC 100-year celebration committee member (Roger & Donna Knip, Chuck & Lynn Liebbe, or Ralph & Ardy Myers).  Stories can also be emailed to rknip@netnitco.net.
