1:00 P.M. FELLOWSHIP CIRCLE will meet in the Fireside Room. Barb Kingma will lead the lesson, Ellen Kenning will have devotions and Ellen Kenning and Grace Graefnitz will host.
7:00 P.M. CONSISTORY will meet in the Consistory Room. Those who would like to request baptism or make profession of faith in Christ are invited to meet with the elders at 7:30 P.M.
WEDNESDAY – January 8
1:30 – 3:00 P.M. NIFTY NEEDLES will meet in the Fireside Room.
SATURDAY – January 11
6:00 – 7:30 A.M. MEN’S LIFE will meet in the Fireside Room. Each week, men meet to learn from God’s Word, have great fellowship and sharing, and spend time in prayer. All men are welcome to join us.

OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS
NEW CONSISTORY MEMBERS will be installed and ordained this morning during worship. Bob Klemp and Tim Steinke will be installed as Elders. Dave Kampenga will be installed as Deacon and Ron Evers and Josh Luedtke will be ordained and installed as Deacons.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT DINNERS are on a break and will return on Jan.15.
PASTOR TROY will be at a conference from this Thursday to Monday. Pastoral concerns may be shared with Pastor Rob or an Elder.
WE EXTEND our warm congratulations to all those who have graduated from their studies mid-term. We pray for the Lord’s guiding light and blessings upon you, as you seek to serve Christ in your life. Our graduates are:

BELIEVE TRIP for Middle School Students will be March 6 & 7 in Bloomington, IL. Cost: $50 If you would like to sponsor a students, please contact Pastor Rob.
A CLASS FOR YOUNG ADULTS will begin meeting in the Consistory Room on January 12 after worship. We will be doing a video series called “Finding Truth” by Francis Chan. Pastor Rob and Melanie are excited to start something new for the young adults and young at heart!
FAITHFIT YOGA IS RETURNING! FaithFit Yoga's mission is to provide a faith based atmosphere to promote health, happiness, and well-being in our community. The body is the temple and we strive to nurture our health while bringing our participants closer to Christ through yoga. FaithFit is led by Christy Nelms, a registered yoga alliance 200 hour instructor and a physical therapist. We will slowly start back up to regain our practice. Newcomers are welcome. Classes will be held on Tuesday nights in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30 P.M. and will start on January 14th! You can buy a single class for $8 or an 11 class pass for $80!
THOSE WHO ARE INTERESTED in the July mission trip to Honduras are invited to a final call-out meeting on January 22 at 6:30 P.M. in the Fireside Room. This will be the last meeting before a final decision about going on the trip needs to be made. James and Brittany Foster, the missionaries at Jardin de Gracia Christian School, will be joining us that evening as well. Questions before then? Contact Liz Bayci at 956-9164.
DEMOTTE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is in need of lice kits and lice spray to have on hand for families in need. ARC would like to supply them with some. If you’d like to donate some, please drop off in the church office anytime. Thank you!
WE NEED COOKS! We are looking for people to prepare Wednesday Night dinners for the month of February to fill in for Tammy while she is out of town. If you’d like to take a week, please sign up on the sheet down by the kitchen.
WE ARE LOOKING for one leader for Children’s Church lessons! This would be for ages 3-1st grade. Leaders are asked to teach once every 6 weeks. If interested, please contact Stacy Hoffman (869-8114 or office@demottearc.com).

AMERICAN REFORMED CHURCH is about to have a milestone birthday! A big celebration is being planned for October of 2020. ARC will be turning 100 years old! We would like to invite you to share your memories and stories about your time here at ARC no matter if you have grown up here or have just recently started attending. There is a table downstairs on your way to coffee with a box where you can place your memories and stories. They can be serious, humorous, whatever you choose. Please sign your name to your story in case we have any questions. We plan to compile your stories into a book so your memories will be available for others to enjoy. If you have any questions, please talk to an ARC 100-year celebration committee member (Roger & Donna Knip, Chuck & Lynn Liebbe, or Ralph & Ardy Myers).
