WE ARE SO THANKFUL for the blessings we have received through the work of both Melissa and Pastor Rob. Beginning today there will be a box in the fellowship hall for each of them for thank you notes or cards or words of encouragement as they continue to serve the Lord in a new capacity. Bring your notes or cards on Sunday, or anytime throughout the following week. Note paper will be on the table by the boxes if you forget to bring something but would like to contribute your messages and put them in the boxes. There will also be a box for Pastor Troy in appreciation of him and his year of hard work and service to our congregation! We look forward to a cake reception following the morning service on Sunday, December 27, which will be the last Sunday here at ARC for both Pastor Rob and Melissa.
ATTENTION PARENTS OF BIBLE ADVENTURES KIDS: We now have our weekly videos and take-home sheets available on our website! This gives kids an opportunity to watch the video again at home or see videos they missed! There are printable coloring pages for Pre-K/K and printable Take Home Sheets for 1st – 5th grade. Visit demottearc.com and go to the Children’s Ministry page. There, you will find a link to the content (please note that the content page is password protected; the password is “adventures”. New lessons will be posted weekly!
THE DECEMBER ISSUE of the ARC Newsletter is available at demottearc.com. We also have paper copies available in the kitchen window.
WORDS OF HOPE devotionals for January, February and March are available on shelves at Sanctuary exits today!
NURSERY VOLUNTEERS SIGN UP: Interested in serving as a nursery volunteer? If so, there is a sign-up sheet down by the kitchen. If you have any questions, please talk to or contact Kara Nanninga 219-805-9926, kara.bruxvoort@gmail.com).
CAN YOU HELP MOVEMENT WITH SNACKS? Movement is again asking for snack donations. They are running low on their supply. Specifically, they are asking for individually wrapped snacks due to Covid-19 precautions. Individual sized chips, candy, Hostess or Little Debbie snacks, cases of pop/water/juice, etc. would be great! This helps lessen the expense of providing snacks by families and Movement. All donations can be dropped off in the church office anytime.
THANK YOU to all our Salvation Army Bell Ringers! With your help, we were able to raise $816.11 for the local Salvation Army and Helping Hands efforts right in our county!
“I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED by the $200 gift given to me. May the Lord bless whoever the giver (or givers) was of this generous gift. Our Heavenly Father continues to meet my needs. I am grateful for the financial and prayer support that ARC gave to me during the years I served the Lord in Ireland. Thank You! On Christ the solid rock I continue to stand! In Him, Jessie Van Schepen”
