OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS

WE EXPRESS our deepest sympathy to Alvin & Nancy Hamstra, Gene DeYoung, and all family and friends on the passing of our      sister-in-Christ, Susie Hamstra.  Susie went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 26.  A private service was held yesterday here at church.  May God grant comfort during this difficult time.

THE FLOWERS on the organ this morning are in memory of Nicholas Tysen.  Nicholas went home to be with his Lord 15 years ago on January 30.  The flowers were placed by his loving parents,  Scott & Leslie Tysen.

BIBLE ADVENTURES KIDS will be singing for our special music next Sunday, February 7!  Parents:  Please bring your kids downstairs to the Promiseland area at 9:20 that morning.

CHURCH CAMPOUT 2021:  It’s time to make your reservations for the 2021 church campout!  The dates will be August 6, 7, and 8 at Potato Creek State Park.  We would love to have new families, couples, and singles join us!! Making reservations now will help make it possible for us all to camp next to each other.  The Tysen’s are booking site #147 again this year.  If you have any questions or would just like to learn more about the campout, please call Leslie Tysen (219-863-3822).  She also has a map of the sites everyone had last year.

GOD’S CREATION CALENDARS:  There are a few 2021 God’s Creation calendars available in the DMCS office for $10.

DMCS CARRYING ON THE PROMISE:  The annual Carrying on the Promise Drive to support the General Fund for DMCS is currently in progress.  If you would like to contribute, a check made out to DMCS Inc. can be sent to DeMotte Christian Schools, PO Box 430, DeMotte, IN  46310 or dropped off at one of the schools.  You may also donate online at www.demottechristianschools.org.  If you’re unable to give this year, please pray for our schools.  Thank you for your support!

SUPERINTENDENT NEEDEDDeMotte Christian Schools, Inc. is seeking applicants for the Superintendent position for the 2021-2022 school year.  Applicants must hold at least a Master’s degree in education administration or business (MBA), have at least three years of experience in educational administration or leadership, fully embrace the school’s statement of beliefs, and is an active member of a church with a Reformed persuasion.  Please contact David Ritter, at dritter@csionline.org for additional information.
