OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS

THE FLOWERS on the organ this morning are in memory of Nicholas Tysen.  Nicholas went home to be with his Lord 15 years ago on January 30.  The flowers were placed by his loving parents,   Scott & Leslie Tysen.

 PUT ON YOUR BOWLING SHOES!  ARC will have a bowling night on Saturday, February 27 at Wheatfield Lanes!  Are you a good bowler?  Are you terrible?  We don’t care!  We’d love to see all of you there for the fun!  The time will be 5:00 – 7:00 P.M.  There is a sign-up sheet down by the kitchen.  Please sign your name, rough number attending and your number.  Talk to Ron Evers if you have any  questions (219-816-0573).

 CHURCH CAMPOUT 2021:  It’s time to make your reservations for the 2021 church campout!  The dates will be August 6, 7, and 8 at Potato Creek State Park.  We would love to have new families, couples, and singles join us!! Making reservations now will help make it possible for us all to camp next to each other.  The Tysen’s are booking site #147 again this year.  If you have any questions or would just like to learn more about the campout, please call Leslie Tysen (219-863-3822).  She also has a map of the sites everyone had last year.

EXCITING NEWS FOR MOVEMENT JR. HIGH!  We're having a junior high retreat March 5-7.     It will be a weekend with worship, discipleship, games, and a trip to Echo Valley Winter Sports Park!  There will be a sign-up sheet at Movement on February 14.  The cost is $40 per student.  Contact Luke Zylstra with questions at (219) 240-4224 or lukejzylstra@gmail.com.

DMCS CARRYING ON THE PROMISE:  The annual Carrying on the Promise Drive to support the General Fund for DMCS is currently in progress.  If you would like to contribute, a check made out to DMCS Inc. can be sent to DeMotte Christian Schools, PO Box 430, DeMotte, IN  46310 or dropped off at one of the schools.  You may also donate online at www.demottechristianschools.org.  If you’re unable to give this year, please pray for our schools.  Thank you for your support!

THANKS-GIVE-ING CCHS DRIVE-THRU SERVICE DINNER: Enjoy a delicious turkey dinner on Friday, March 5, 5:00 – 7:00 P.M! This is the annual Service Dinner to raise funds for Covenant students to participate in this year's Service Week (April 26-30). This will be the ONLY fundraiser and will definitely be different than the usual sit-down dinner and program. Meals are $10 for adults and $8 for children. We will also collect donations aside from the meal costs. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." Hebrews 13:8.

SUPERINTENDENT NEEDEDDeMotte Christian Schools, Inc. is seeking applicants for the Superintendent position for the 2021-2022 school year.  Applicants must hold at least a master’s degree in education administration or business (MBA), have at least three years of experience in educational administration or leadership, fully embrace the school’s statement of beliefs, and is an active member of a church with a Reformed persuasion.  Please contact David Ritter, at dritter@csionline.org for additional information.
