TUESDAY – August 10
10:00 A.M. PRAYER FOR REVITALIZATION will take place in the Consistory Room. Pastor Troy will lead a time of prayer (about 30 minutes) for the revitalization process of ARC. We encourage all to come participate!
WEDNESDAY – August 11
7:00 P.M. THE TRANSITION TEAM will meet in the Consistory Room. Please continue to pray for ARC’s revitalization process. Members are Pastor Troy, Matt Kallemeyn, Dave Kampenga, Angela Myers, Tim Steinke, John Schultheis, Tim Zylstra, and Stacy Hoffman.

WE EXPRESS our deepest sympathy to all family and friends on the passing of our sister-in-Christ, Sharon Bovenkerk. Sharon went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 4. Services were held yesterday at Boersma Funeral Home. May God grant comfort during this difficult time.
CONGRATULATIONS to Mr. & Mrs. Drew & Allison (Schultheis) Clark who were married yesterday, August 7 in Missouri. May God bless them both and they seek to serve Christ together.
PASTOR TROY is out of town today as he officiated Drew and Allison’s wedding. We are excited to welcome Jill Kohlhagen again to provide our message.

TRAINING IS UNDERWAY! We are working hard to bring clean water to communities in need in underdeveloped countries through Team World Vision. We will participate in the Indy Monumental Marathon on November 6 and appreciate all donations for clean water. You can donate on behalf of a specific runner or give a gift to the ARC Team as a whole by designating gifts in the offering or going to teamworldvision.org and searching American Reformed Church. You can also support us by keeping us in your prayers as we train and praying for all who are in desperate need of clean water.

“THANK YOU EVERYONE for your support, love, and encouragement through the years. I will probably not be at ARC for the next few months and would like to explain why. A few years ago the Lord told me He wanted me to fly for an airline. This year the Lord made it clear it was time. So I was obedient and applied to two airlines, interviewed about a month later, and was offered a job at both. I have accepted a job as a first officer with Air Wisconsin and begin training on August 27. I do not plan on moving out of the area, but training will last 2-3 months and as a new hire, I will likely work weekends until I gain seniority. This means I will not be able to serve in the church or Movement in the near future. Air Wisconsin is my new mission field; the Lord has made that clear. Please pray for me as I move forward into this new season of life. Pray for conversations to start that might make it easy for me to share about my faith and talk to people about Jesus. Pray that I would get through training and pass every exam with ease. Pray that I would be firm in my faith and stay true to the Lord as I enter into a workforce historically filled with greed and pride and people who need Jesus. I love you all, thank you so much for how you have poured into me over the years and helped me grow in my faith. Keep fighting the good fight!” ~ Keegan Starkey
