JOIN THE SOUND TEAM! The Sound Team is looking for some new volunteers to help serve on Sundays and Wednesdays! The Sound Team plays an important role in the worship service by working to make sure all music and voices are heard well. Sound team members usually serve once a month by running all sound equipment for Wednesday night band practice and Sunday morning worship. No training? No problem! We will be having a workshop after church on next Sunday (November 18), where two professional sound technicians will teach about how to run the sound equipment. Anyone interested in joining the sound team can come to the workshop and see what running sound is all about! Lunch will be provided – please RSVP to Brittany Janiszewski at brittany@demottearc.com by 11/14 if you would like to attend. For more information, contact Brittany Janiszewski or Dave Kampenga.
SPECIAL THANKSGIVING EVE MEAL AND SERVICE! We invite you to join us for a delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings! This will be a special time of fellowship and we encourage you to invite your friends, especially those that may not otherwise have a Thanksgiving meal. Dinner will be served from 5:15 - 6:30 P.M. Afterward, all are welcome to attend the special Thanksgiving Eve service we have planned for 7:00 P.M. This will be a time of worship and expression of gratefulness to God for all He provides us. We hope many will join us! A sign up sheet in located on the bulletin board across from the kitchen if you would like to help serve, clean up, bring food, etc. for the meal. Many hands will be needed to make this dinner a success!
PASTOR ROB will be out of the office this week and will return on Sunday, November 18. Stacy will be out of the office Monday thru Wednesday of this week.
