THE REGULAR OFFERING will be received for the General Fund and the second offering will be for the ARC Kentucky Work Trip.

9:30 A.M.  CHILDREN’S CHURCH for kids 3 years old through 5th grade will meet in the Promiseland Area.

10:45 – 11:45 A.M.  SUNDAY SCHOOL for all ages.

(Parents:  please pick your child up in his/her classroom.)   

  3 yr. old – 12th grade will meet in their respective classrooms.

  CURRENT EVENTS:  A group that discusses current events will meet in the Cry Room.

  ADULTING will meet in the Consistory Room.

  Nursery is available upon request. 

5:00 – 7:00 P.M.  MOVEMENT YOUTH MINISTRY will meet in the Fellowship Hall.

6:00 P.M.  PRAYER/BIBLE STUDY GROUP will meet in the Consistory Room.

  DINNER is served from 5:15 – 6:30. Menu: lasagna, salad, rolls

  FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY will meet in the Consistory Room from 6:00 – 7:30.

  FOOD BACKPACKS will be stuffed in the Fellowship Hall.

CHURCH DIRECTORIES were recently placed in mailboxes for all who had photos taken with Lifetouch.  If you didn’t receive a printed directory and would like one, they can be purchased from the church office for $10.00.

 GOING CAMPING?  If you’re planning to attend the church campout, please see Leslie Tysen TODAY or call her ASAP (219-863-3822) to reserve your campsite.  The campout will be the first weekend of August at Potato Creek.

"In Christ, She…"  

Registration for the women's retreat will close on Sunday, March 24.  Spaces are still available, but don't let the deadline sneak up on you.  The retreat is open for women post-high and above on April 12-13 at Connect Christian Camp and Retreat Center in Crown Point.  We will explore what it looks like to ground our identity in Christ and allow that reality to permeate every aspect of our lives.  The retreat will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday and conclude at 4 p.m. on Saturday.  The cost is $45.  We also have a "Saturday-only" option at a reduced price ($20) if you are unable to attend on Friday evening.  Registration forms are available on the table by the kitchen and in the church office.  Contact a team member (Liz Bayci, Stacy Hoffman, Kara Nanninga, or Jill Kohlhagen) with questions.  

TODAY IS THE REQUEST DEADLINE for our Annual Request Program hosted by the RCWM.  The program will be on Sunday, April 7 at 6:00 P.M.  Request forms and drop baskets are located by the kitchen and in the foyer at the back of the sanctuary.  Please fill them out with who you are requesting, what you would like them to do, and contact info (if not a member of ARC).

TODAY IS THE DEADLINE to order Easter flowers!  Every Easter, we decorate our Sanctuary with flowers which can be purchased in memory or honor of a loved one.  After the Easter Sunday Service, you are welcome to take your flower home.  They are available in many varieties this year:  Tulips ($9.50), Hyacinth ($9.50), Daffodils ($9.50), Lilies ($10.50), Azaleas ($17.00), Mums ($10.00).  Order forms are in the kitchen window.  Please return them to Jerry & Diane Veld’s mailbox before you leave today!  

 COMING IN APRIL!  The ARC Newsletter will be back!  Check your mailboxes in April for the first issue and the ARC website and Facebook page for new content!  Committee members are still needed to help with gathering information.  In interested, contact Roy Gouwens, Stacy Hoffman or Katlyn Kohlhagen. 

 THERE WILL BE NO WEDNESDAY NIGHT MEAL on March 27 due to Spring Break.  We will resume meals the following week.

WORDS OF HOPE devotionals for April, May and June are on church shelves and in the kitchen window today.

 SUDS FOR A CAUSE fundraiser is going on now through March 18!  Contact any DMC or CCHS student to order or visit the DMCS website at demottechristianschools.org, click on the calendar, click on a “Suds For A Cause” date, and view the attachment.  Order pick up is at DMC on April 4 from 2:45-4:00 P.M. 

COACHES NEEDED:  Covenant Christian High School is actively seeking coaches for all positions in our girls basketball program.  If you are interested, please call the school office at (219) 987-7651, or email our Athletic Director, Dennis Lins, at dlins@dmcs-in.org.  The deadline for applying is March 31.

JOIN US FOR DINNER ON THE COURT!  Come on out to the DMC gym on April 1, 2019 from 5-7 and have dinner on the court with your favorite volleyball players.  We will be serving grilled chicken sandwiches, BBQ beans, and side salads.  The food will be delicious, you don't want to miss it!  There will be a free will donation taken at the door.  Dine in or carry out!  Proceeds will help fund 38 DMC and CCHS volleyball players who plan to attend 4 day team camp in June. 

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED about being a hospice volunteer?  VNA of NWI has openings for volunteers to visit patients in the DeMotte and Jasper County area.  The most important qualifications for a VNA Hospice volunteer are a compassionate heart, love of life, and the ability to really listen and be there for a patient.  If this sounds like you, give us a call!  Training is available in the Lake County area now.  Please contact VNA Volunteer Services Coordinator, Erica at 219-531-8057 or by email at ekerkes@vnanwi.org to get started today!
