KIDS HOPE USAWe are excited to continue building relationships with the students, teachers and staff at DeMotte Elementary and KV Intermediate Schools.  Last year was a great school year, and we are confident we will need more mentors who can invest one hour each week                                                                                  in the life of one child.  Training is provided.  Will you be the one to help change the life of a child?  If you are interested in being a mentor, substitute mentor or prayer partner, please pick up an application packet from the table by the kitchen.  Completed applications can be returned directly to Kara Nanninga or Heather Veld or put in either of their mailboxes.  Questions?  Talk to or email Kara (kara.bruxvoort@gmail.com;219-805-9926) or Heather (veldheather@yahoo.com; 219-869-3403).

HAVE YOU CONSIDERED hosting an ARC Get Together?  Now is the time to volunteer.  The Get Together program is in need of additional hosts to open their homes for a time of fellowship with a group of ARC family.  You choose the date and type of get together you’d like to have and the committee will provide you with a list of people and some invitations.  Host a cookout, game night, carry-in, pizza party, dessert night…  If you are interested or would like more information, please contact Kristi (219-964-9957) or Donna (987-4289 or 219-730-9824).  What a blessing to be part of a wonderful church family.  Let’s be deliberate in connecting and growing together.

TRAINING IS UNDERWAYWe are working hard to bring clean water to communities in need in underdeveloped countries through Team World Vision.  We will participate in the Indy Monumental Marathon on November 9 and appreciate all donations for clean water.  You can donate on behalf of a specific runner or give a gift to the ARC Team as a whole by designating gifts in the offering or going to Team World Vision and searching American Reformed Church.  You can also support us by keeping us in your prayers as we train and praying for all who are in desperate need of clean water.
