WEEKLY MEETINGS
MONDAY – September 27
7:00 P.M. JOY CIRCLE will meet in the Fireside room. We will discuss what we want to do regarding our Bible Study group. It will be wonderful to see everyone there.
TUESDAY – September 28
10:00 A.M. PRAYER FOR REVITALIZATION will take place in the Consistory Room. Pastor Troy will lead a time of prayer (about 30 minutes) for the revitalization process of ARC. We encourage all to come participate!
6:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. FAITHFIT YOGA will be in the Fellowship Hall. Join us for this as we all get back into our practice together! Bring your old passes if you still have them! We can’t wait to see you all there!

7:00 P.M. THE TRANSITION TEAM will meet in the Consistory Room. Please continue to pray for ARC’s revitalization process. Members are Pastor Troy, Matt Kallemeyn, Dave Kampenga, Angela Myers, Tim Steinke, Tim Zylstra, and Stacy Hoffman.

WE EXPRESS our deepest sympathy to Phyllis Belstra and all family members and friends on the passing of our brother in Christ, Bob Belstra. Bob went home to be with his Lord on Monday, September 20. Services were held here at church on Saturday. May God grant comfort during this difficult time.
WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE a new educational opportunity beginning for our 4th/5th grade kids! We will be starting a new class during Promiseland time with different material designed specifically for this age group. The first class will begin next Sunday, October 3. For more information feel free to contact Angela Myers.
WE ARE ONCE AGAIN OFFERING Kids Hope at DeMotte Elementary school this school year. If you have already been trained as a mentor, please let Heather Veld or Pastor Troy know if you are interested in mentoring this year.
WE ALSO HAVE A LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY for someone to co-lead Kids Hope with Heather. We are looking for someone who can handle the administrative and communications for our Kids Hope ministry. This will include creating schedules, emailing teachers and mentors, and coordinating trainings. If you are interested, please talk to Heather Veld or Pastor Troy.
TRAINING CONTINUES! We are working hard to bring clean water to communities in need in underdeveloped countries through Team World Vision. We will participate in the Indy Monumental Marathon on November 6 and appreciate all donations for clean water. You can donate on behalf of a specific runner or give a gift to the ARC Team as a whole by designating gifts in the offering or going to teamworldvision.org and searching American Reformed Church. You can also support us by keeping us in your prayers as we train and praying for all who are in desperate need of clean water.

THE HARVEST SALE COMMITTEE will again be accepting homemade baked goods to auction off at this year's Harvest Sale! If you would like to donate, please call or stop by the main office at DMC and let us know what you will be making. Baked goods will need to be dropped off on Friday, October 1st at DMC. FRESH FRUIT SALE: We’re excited to announce our inaugural Thanksgiving Fruit Sale has begun! This is a great opportunity to order some fresh fruit for the holidays. The sale ends October 4 and the fruit will be delivered the week of November 15. Visit the DMCS Facebook page for more information or stop by either school to pick up an order form!
MIDDLE SCHOOL COACHES SOUGHT: DeMotte Christian is looking for basketball coaches for the middle school level. We have openings for boys’ teams and girls’ teams. PINT-SIZE HERO RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE: DMC is sponsoring an October blood drive on October 28 at the Keener Township Fire Department from 1:00 - 6:00 P.M.
RUMMAGE SALE: DMCS invites everyone to their Fall Rummage Sale on Saturday, October 16 from 9:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. in the Covenant Christian High School gym. Only $7 per bag from 9:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M., and $2 per bag from 12:00 -1:0 P.M. To donate clean, gently used items for the sale, please bring them on Thursday, October 14 from 2:00 – 5:00 P.M. at the back door or Friday, October 15 from 8:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. at the front door. Volunteers are needed to set up and sort on Thursday from 2:00 – 7:00 P.M. or Friday from 8:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. Please call CCHS’s office at 219-987-7651 to sign up.
